Job Summary:

As a Service Advisor at Elite Auto Repair, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our customers receive top-notch service and support throughout their automotive service experience. You will serve as a trusted liaison between our customers and our skilled technicians, offering expert advice and guidance while overseeing the seamless flow of service operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Appointment Scheduling: Schedule service appointments, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to deadlines.
  • Customer Interaction: Provide a warm and welcoming environment for customers, actively listen to their concerns, and gather detailed information about their vehicle’s issues.
  • Proactive Customer Communication: Maintain continuous and transparent communication with customers regarding required repairs, alterations in cost estimates, and the anticipated vehicle readiness timeline, ensuring utmost customer enlightenment.
  • Comprehensive Delivery Protocol: Execute an active and comprehensive delivery process during customer pick-up, conducting a detailed review of all executed work and a comprehensive examination of the final invoice.
  • Exemplary Customer Service Standards: Uphold exceptional customer service standards as a cornerstone of your daily operations, consistently aiming for unparalleled customer satisfaction.

  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with service technicians and other team members to facilitate efficient workflow and maintain exceptional service quality.

Qualifications:

  • A high school education or its equivalent is the minimum educational requirement, providing a solid foundation for the candidate to excel in this position.
  • The ideal candidate should possess the physical capability to lift objects weighing up to 100 pounds, ensuring they can handle demanding tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is a crucial skill for this role, enabling the candidate to efficiently manage and analyze data, create reports, and communicate effectively.
  • Proven experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer service role within the automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems, repairs, and maintenance procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Exceptional customer service orientation with a focus on building long-term relationships.
  • Proficiency in computer software and systems used for scheduling, record-keeping, and communication.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and remain calm under pressure.
